Able to analyze energy losses, downtime events, inverter trips, curtailment, shading, equipment degradation and grid-related issues and work closely with relevant stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for underperforming assets and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor daily performance of solar PV assets including generation, availability, performance ratio (PR), specific yield, and plant efficiency.
Track actual plant performance against budget, forecast, PPA guarantees, and financial model assumptions.
Perform daily monitoring of SCADA systems, inverters, weather stations, meters, and communication systems to identify abnormalities and performance losses.
Analyze energy losses, downtime events, inverter trips, curtailment, shading, equipment degradation, and grid-related issues.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for underperforming assets and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual asset performance reports for management and stakeholders.
Track and verify energy generation data, irradiation data, and performance calculations to ensure reporting accuracy.
Coordinate with O&M contractors to investigate performance issues and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Maintain asset performance database and ensure integrity of operational records and historical performance data.
Requirements
