We're Hiring: Project Engineer

Chee Yam Contractor Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure projects, including MRT and LRT enhancement works across Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations and project execution.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies, including LTA.

• Monitor site progress to ensure works are completed according to schedule and budget.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.

• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and site documentation.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

• Coordinate material procurement and site resources.

• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress.

• Resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of works.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects.

• Experience in MRT, LRT, bridge, or road projects will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with LTA requirements and safety regulations is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is an added advantage.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) will be given priority.
