The role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR operational support across employee lifecycle processes, payroll administration, benefits management, mobility coordination, and employee services. The incumbent will ensure efficient service delivery, compliance with statutory and company requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Payroll Operations
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, including payroll data validation, input preparation, variance analysis, reconciliation, recharges and payroll reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely salary disbursement.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal governance standards relating to payroll administration.
- Manage submissions and reporting obligations to relevant government agencies and regulatory bodies timely and accurately.
- Maintain payroll records and support system enhancements, testing activities, and issue resolution.
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related discrepancies in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure employee records in the payroll system are accurate and up to date, assist with data reconciliation activities, and address basic data inconsistencies
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal movements, mobility-related administration, and offboarding activities
- Maintain employment documentation, employee records and HR systems data with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Coordinate onboarding arrangements, employee orientation, documentation collection, and system access setup.
- Administer employee benefits, including insurance enrolment, coverage updates, benefits administration, and employee communications.
- Maintain leave administration processes and HR systems, ensuring accurate application of policies, employee entitlements, and records.
- Support mobility-related activities, including immigration documentation, work pass administration, relocation coordination, and liaison with external service providers where applicable.
- Manage employee exits and employment cessation requirements, including exit documentation, tax-related processes, mobility-related matters, and final administrative clearances.
- Administer probation review processes and employment status changes, ensuring timely tracking, follow-up, and documentation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee queries relating to HR policies, benefits, mobility, and HR administrative matters.
- Monitor service delivery standards and identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency across the employee lifecycle.
HR Operations Excellence
- Ensure timely processing and reconciliation of HR-related invoices, vendor payments, and employee-related expenditures.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports, documentation, and audit information as required.
- Participate in HR projects, operational initiatives, and process improvement efforts to drive service excellence and organisational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient delivery of HR operational services.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of HR experience, with hands-on in-house payroll processing experience being critical.
- Strong understanding of Singapore employment legislation, labour regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook), with experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.
- Well-organised, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently while working effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data management and record-keeping.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
