Role Description The Public Relations Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sungai Jawi. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with media outlets, drafting and distributing press releases, and coordinating public announcements and events. The role includes managing the company’s public image, monitoring media coverage, and responding to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The Public Relations Officer will collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute strategic communication campaigns that support brand awareness and corporate objectives. Daily activities also involve preparing communication materials, supporting crisis communication efforts, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills to effectively manage the company’s reputation and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess experience in drafting and managing Press Releases as part of coordinated communication efforts.
• Candidates should possess solid Communication and Strategic Communications skills to develop clear, consistent messaging and campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Sungai Jawi, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in corporate communications, media, or marketing within the automotive or consumer products industry is an added benefit.
