Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Actions Executive to support the processing of corporate action events across domestic and international securities markets. You will be responsible for managing mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, validating entitlements, coordinating with custodians and counterparties, and ensuring accurate and timely processing while maintaining compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, including dividends, rights issues, bonus issues, stock splits, mergers, tender offers, and other market events.
  • Monitor daily corporate action announcements received from exchanges, custodians, and market data providers.
  • Review and validate client entitlements, election instructions, and event processing to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with custodians, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of corporate action events.
  • Investigate and resolve corporate action exceptions, discrepancies, and client enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all corporate action activities.
  • Support reconciliation of corporate action events and ensure accurate accounting of entitlements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support internal and external audit activities related to corporate actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, Custody Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.
  • Good understanding of corporate action event processing and securities operations.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
