HR Manager

The Straits Resorts Medini is looking for an experienced and passionate HR Manager to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
• Coordinate learning and development programmes.
• Oversee payroll preparation, attendance, leave administration, and HR records.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Work closely with Department Heads on manpower planning and organisational development.
• Prepare HR reports and support Management with HR-related matters.
• Foster a positive, professional, and productive workplace culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and labour regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is an advantage.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
