Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing activities on products using the company's test platform and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures to identify root causes and minimize production downtime.
  • Perform test cycles according to work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct daily cleaning and basic maintenance of test fixtures and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by practicing 5S standards.
  • Organize and maintain test tools, fixtures, and equipment before and after use.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical datasheets to support testing activities.
  • Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework, and repair of non-conforming products.
  • Prepare and maintain test records, maintenance logs, and failure analysis reports.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CIP) initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to meet operational and production requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with experience as a Debug Technician, Test Technician, or in semiconductor/manufacturing environments are highly encouraged to apply.
  • OR Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronics with at least 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, testing, debugging, or equipment maintenance is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or mechatronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience in testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and failure analysis is preferred.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and test processes is an advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices is an added advantage.

  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to work on rotating shifts and overtime when required.
