URGENT HIRING – QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)
Location: Seberang Jaya, Penang

-We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong measurement (taking-off) skills to join our team for infrastructure and sewerage-related projects.
-QS with strong measurement (taking-off) skills, especially useful for your sewerage / infra projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-off and detailed measurements from construction drawings for civil and, where required, M&E works.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender pricing accurately and efficiently.
• Support the preparation, compilation, and submission of tender documents.
• Review and evaluate Variation Orders (VO), including cost analysis and supporting documentation.
• Prepare progress claims, subcontractor payments, and periodic cost reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on technical and commercial matters.
• Monitor project costs to ensure budget control and cost efficiency.

Key Requirement (IMPORTANT)

• Strong measurement / taking-off skills is a MUST
• Able to measure from drawings (AutoCAD / PDF) independently
• Familiar with civil & infrastructure works, such as:
• Sewerage / STP works
• Pipework's, manholes, chambers
• Earthworks, concrete works

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 2-3 years experience (consultant or contractor background)

Skills Required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of contract forms

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
