Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and governance for the end-to-end delivery of the floating solar EPC project, from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, and commercial operation.
  • Develop and execute project strategies to achieve project objectives, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE targets.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams comprising engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, contracts, and commercial functions.
  • Manage EPC contractors, consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee project planning, risk management, cost control, contract administration, and change management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, investors, and joint venture partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and HSE policies.
  • Drive proactive risk identification, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution to minimise project delays and cost overruns.
  • Monitor project performance through regular reporting, governance reviews, and executive stakeholder updates.
  • Lead project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities to ensure successful project completion and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects, particularly solar PV developments.
  • Hands-on experience leading Floating Solar PV (FPV) projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of EPC project delivery, contract management, project controls, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-million-dollar infrastructure or energy projects from inception through completion.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, HSE requirements, quality management, and regulatory compliance within the renewable energy sector.
  • Willingness travel to project sites as required.

Pay: RM25,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
