Job Description

• Supervise all confined space work activities to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Conduct pre-entry briefings and verify confined space entry permits before work begins.
• Ensure all workers comply with safe work procedures and wear the required PPE.
• Monitor atmospheric testing results and ensure continuous gas monitoring where required.
• Coordinate with Confined Space Safety Assessor (CSSA), entrants, attendants, and rescue personnel.
• Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions or hazardous atmospheres are identified.
• Maintain records of permits, inspections, and safety documentation.
• Ensure emergency rescue procedures are understood and ready before entry.

Requirements

• Possess valid WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation certification.
• Knowledge of Singapore WSH (Confitted Spaces) Regulations.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience supervising confined space work.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Familiar with permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or at project sites when required.
