Purpose of Role

To lead and manage all manufacturing and operational improvement activities across the plant while supporting future expansion and business growth initiatives. This role is intended to lead the entire manufacturing operation and support the company’s transition into a larger and more sophisticated manufacturing plant.

Manufacturing & Operations Leadership

Provide overall leadership for plant operations. Ensure production, quality, delivery, cost, inventory and safety objectives are consistently achieved. Establish strong operational governance through daily, weekly and monthly management reviews.

Planning, Supply Chain & Inventory Control

Ensure effective production planning, material availability, inventory accuracy and capacity planning. Drive improvements in inventory turns, schedule adherence and customer service levels.

People Leadership & Organisational Development

Lead, coach and develop managers, supervisors and operational teams. Build a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement and succession planning.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and productivity improvement initiatives. Lead cost reduction programs, waste elimination and operational excellence projects.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and company requirements. Support quality management systems and continuous quality improvement.

Plant Expansion & Capital Projects

Lead operational readiness for new production lines, factory expansion, layout improvements, capital expenditure projects and future growth initiatives.
