Job Responsibilities
Report to the R&D Manager (Imuthane)
To follow instruction to assist in developing new R&D project and conducting R&D and analytical work
To follow instruction to assist in approval of new sources of raw materials
To assist Imuthane production in quality trouble-shooting
To assist in process modification when deemed necessary by production
To update and file analysis reports and other documents.
To ensure that all consumables are sufficient for daily operation of Imuthane labs
To assist failure analyses on customers’ complaints and provide customer support through testing of samples sent by customers
To assist in analytical method development through collaboration with external laboratories
To carry out safety and house keeping activities in the department.
To participate in the company’s safety and health committee when required.
To assist in sample preparation from small scale to large scale when receiving customer request from sales.
Any other duties as and when required to be done by supervisor
Minimum Job Requirements/Competency
Degree or diploma in Chemistry
Fresh or 1 to 2 years working experience in chemical industry
