Job Description

Responsibilities

Eligibility: Singapore Citizens only.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing and supporting RF and EMI/EMC testing activities for customer projects and product validation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute RF testing for EMI shielding materials, RF absorbers and related electronic products.
  • Perform RF measurements using:
  • 1. Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
  • 2. Spectrum Analyzer
  • 3. Signal Generator
  • 4. RF Power Meter
  • 5. Oscilloscope
  • Evaluate RF performance, shielding effectiveness, insertion loss and return loss.
  • Analyze RF measurement results and prepare professional technical reports.
  • Develop, improve and standardize RF test procedures and documentation.
  • Support the setup, operation and continuous improvement of Redtec's RF testing laboratory.
  • Troubleshoot RF, EMI and EMC related issues and recommend practical engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production and customers to provide technical support.
  • Support product demonstrations, customer evaluations and factory acceptance testing where required.
  • Ensure RF test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in RF testing, RF measurements, or EMI/EMC testing.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • 1. RF fundamentals
  • 2. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
  • 3. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)
  • 4. Signal Integrity
  • 5. RF propagation
  • 6. Hands-on experience using RF test equipment such as:
  • 7. Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
  • 8. Spectrum Analyzer
  • 9. Signal Generator
  • 10. RF Power Meter
  • 11. Oscilloscope
  • Familiar with S-Parameters, insertion loss, return loss, and RF measurement techniques.
  • Able to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Experience preparing technical reports and analyzing measurement data using Excel, MATLAB, or similar software.
  • Experience in automated RF testing or scripting is an advantage.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

No regular overtime is required.

Candidates should be willing to extend working hours during project deadlines, customer support, testing, commissioning, or peak operational periods when necessary.
