  • Provide techno-commercial leadership on project feasibility studies, technical due diligence and M&A activity for acquisitions, joint ventures and new market entry opportunities across the region.
  • Ensure projects comply with National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) requirements, grid codes, permitting and other relevant regulatory frameworks across target markets.
  • Lead and participate in internal technical working groups, ensuring regional considerations are integrated into company-wide strategies.
  • Provide specialist advice on electrical engineering matters such as network design, power system studies, power transformer and switchgear specification, electrical hazards and electrical safety programs.

  • Conduct comparative technical and commercial evaluations of equipment suppliers, with a focus on regional supplier networks.
  • Support investment teams on technical due diligence and commercial screening for acquisitions, project development pipelines and operating assets across APAC, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Support financing initiatives, including supervision of technical studies led by asset owners.
  • Manage and lead operational and technical requirements for the integration of new businesses, investments and ongoing support in joint ventures and partnership agreements.
  • Oversee value engineering processes to validate underwriting assumptions in financial models and ensure proper valuation of existing and prospective assets.
  • Advise on facility configuration, equipment selection and design strategies tailored to local market and regulatory contexts.
  • Share best practices on design, construction, operation and asset management, incorporating learnings from projects across the region.
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, regulators and technical experts across Singapore and the wider APAC region.
  • Represent the company at relevant conferences, technical forums and stakeholder engagements across the region.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Recognised professional engineering designation preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of IPP experience in renewable energy or related fields, with significant exposure to APAC markets and demonstrated success delivering projects in the Philippines.
  • Strong techno-commercial leadership experience, with a track record of taking Solar PV and BESS projects from development through execution and construction to successful operations.
  • Strong knowledge of project feasibility, technical due diligence and M&A processes.
  • Solid understanding of National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) requirements and other relevant regional grid codes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Deep technical knowledge of power generation, electricity T&D, and renewable energy generation and storage facility design, construction and operations.
  • Strong contractual knowledge and proven competency in equipment supply, construction and operations third-party agreements.
  • Broad understanding of global and regional energy transition challenges and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success working as a senior leader in complex, cross-border environments.
