Electrical Technical Programme Manager – Data Centres / Mission-Critical Infrastructure

Singapore — fully on-site

SGD 9,350–11,500 per month

Permanent Position

Lead the electrical design and delivery of next-generation data centre systems across a major Singapore programme.

This role combines electrical engineering, technical programme management and design-to-construction coordination — taking repeatable infrastructure products from early concept through detailed design, construction integration and commissioning readiness.

About the role

You will coordinate internal engineering teams, construction stakeholders and external consultants to develop proprietary electrical designs for complex data centre builds.

Sitting across design, construction, facilities, commissioning and EHS, you will drive technical documentation, programme actions, design interfaces and vendor delivery throughout the product-development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the development of system-level electrical concepts, schematics and detailed designs, working with internal engineers and external consultants.
  • Support the integration of new electrical technologies and system products.
  • Programme-manage engineering, construction, facilities, commissioning and EHS stakeholders.
  • Translate system requirements into clear design packages for external consultants.
  • Coordinate electrical design scope and interfaces with other disciplines.
  • Review and challenge electrical drawings and coordinated BIM models at key design milestones. Direct Autodesk Revit experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Identify design gaps, coordination issues and schedule-critical risks.
  • Escalate priority issues and drive consultants and engineering partners towards resolution.
  • Manage external vendors providing design and construction-related services.
  • Produce statements of work, engineering reports, drawing mark-ups, budgets, schedules and commissioning documentation.
  • Lead technical meetings, issue actions and follow open items through to closure.
  • Introduce automation tools that reduce design and documentation time.
  • Develop practical solutions to technical challenges and implement them through the correct approval process.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical engineering experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or similarly complex infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting electrical systems from concept and schematic design through detailed design and construction coordination.
  • Proven programme or project management capability across multiple technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings, engineering documentation and multidisciplinary design coordination.
  • Experience managing consultants, engineers or specialist vendors.
  • Ability to review technical drawings and models and challenge incomplete or poorly coordinated information.
  • Strong risk identification, reporting, meeting-management and stakeholder-communication skills.
  • Comfortable working fully on-site in Singapore.

Desirable background

  • Hyperscale, colocation or large-scale data centre delivery.
  • Autodesk Revit or BIM-based design review.
  • Electrical product development, design standardisation or technology insertion.
  • Total-cost-of-ownership or lifecycle-cost analysis.
  • Experience working across design, construction, facilities, commissioning and EHS.
  • Experience developing repeatable engineering products rather than one-off project designs.

About the environment

You will join a technically demanding data centre programme where electrical systems are developed as repeatable products, not simply treated as individual construction packages.

The role offers significant technical influence, senior stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to shape how future facilities are designed and delivered.
