BASSnet Hiring! Full Time Technical Documentation Intern in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are seeking highly motivated and well-qualified candidates to join our internship program under the Knowledge Base and Technical Documentation Department.

Main Responsibilities:

• Write technical documentation such as User Manuals, Training Materials, Release Notes, Product Sheets, FAQs and Lab Exercises.
• Develop content in alternative media forms such as Video Tutorials and interactive software simulations to complement existing documentation.
• Update existing documentation to support enhancements and bug fixes in new version updates.
• Create articles in the knowledge base to enhance product knowledge.
• Edit, review and proofread documentation before publication or insertion into the knowledge base.
• Assist in compiling and organizing requirements and answers in Requests for Information (RFI).
• Organize content in a way that is optimized for search and easy to navigate.

Requirements/ Expectations:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Journalism/English Language/Mass Communication/Publishing or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Passion for writing and creating documentation that helps people understand complex features.
• Ability to comprehend technical terms/features and explain it in words in a way that is easy to understand.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand processes and features of software/apps/websites.
• Flexible in adapting their style of writing to suit the purpose of each document.
• Methodical approach to documentation and care of document layout (i.e. indentation, list format, alignment, etc.).
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Experience in creating/editing videos will be an added advantage.
• Duration of internship: At least 6 months.
