Job Overview

Trans Elevator (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Junior Lift & Escalator Technician to join our growing technical team. In this role, you will work closely under the guidance of experienced Senior Technicians to carry out routine maintenance, installation assistance, basic troubleshooting, and repair of home lifts, commercial elevators, and escalators.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or entry-level technicians with a mechanical/electrical background looking to build a long-term career in vertical transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Servicing: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) on lifts and escalators according to company safety guidelines and checklists.
• Technical Assistance: Assist Senior Technicians in testing, commissioning, disassembling defective components, and replacing parts like doors, sensors, and mechanical gears.
• Emergency Response: Participate in rotational on-call/standby duty to attend to lift breakdowns and passenger trap calls under supervision.
• Site Support: Help set up safety barriers, organize tools/test equipment, and ensure site tidiness during service jobs.
• Reporting: Complete basic daily service logs, job sheets, and maintenance records accurately after every site visit.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: SPM, Certificate or related technical fields.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in lift/escalator maintenance or general mechanical/electrical work (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!).
• Skills: Basic understanding of electrical wiring, circuit diagrams, and hand tools.
• License: Possess a valid B2 Driving License with own transport to travel to client sites.
• Attributes: Strong team player, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and physically fit to perform field work.

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
