Job Summary:
The Senior QA QC Executive is responsible for overseeing quality assurance activities in the metal fabrication process to ensure all products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. This role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, maintaining records, and leading quality control efforts on the shop floor. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of metal fabrication processes, strong attention to detail, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of fabricated metal parts and assemblies using hand tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process operations, and final products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Develop and implement inspection plans, checklists, and sampling techniques based on project and customer requirements.
- To fill up Goods Delivery Note and slip and ensure proper labelling on each product container;
- To ensure all inspection metal-made are well maintained and stored at proper and clean location;
- To reject and inform superior on any product non-conformances found;
- Document inspection results, generate NCRs (non-conformance reports), and track corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and welding departments to resolve quality issues.
- To perform rework or sorting work when required;
- To receive good return from customer or Logistic Department due to quality failure;
- To request calibration or repairing on equipment found to be out of service or mismeasurement;
- To accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed;
- Train and mentor production staff in quality procedures and best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Assist in audits (internal, customer, or third-party) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
