Responsibilities
Primary Objective:
Assist the Lead Engineer in machine setup, manual G-code programming, tool layout design, and quality troubleshooting for high-precision metal parts on CNC Auto Lathe and CAM machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup & Preparation:
- Prepare cutting tools, cutters, and cam sets for new model development and First Article (FA) samples.
- Assist in setting up and overhauling auto lathe machines as well as RNC machines.
- Programming & Tooling Layout:
- Draft and input manual G-code programs for CNC auto lathe operations.
- Plan and arrange cutting tool positioning layouts based on part drawings and model requirements.
- Trial Runs & Inspection:
- Perform test cuts for initial setups and new model introductions.
- Submit trial and FA sample parts to In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) for dimensional verification.
- Troubleshooting & Quality Control:
- Assist in diagnosing machine issues, identifying defect root causes, and making dimensional adjustments.
- Monitor daily production quality to ensure all finished parts strictly comply with customer specifications.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
