Sourcing Officer/Executive

Responsibilities

• To source, negotiate, select and liaise with suppliers of products from Asia.
• Manage and handle sourcing tasks of assigned products.
• Negotiate and liaise with suppliers to achieve required targeted price, product quality, packing and packaging requirements.
• Identify and deliver continuous savings through effective communication with suppliers.
• Work with suppliers and internal team to ensure delivery of consistent quality that meets the required product specification and regulatory requirement.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and responsible in issuing purchase order to suppliers and vendors.
• Control and manage cost master file, sourcing file and production status file.
• Manage stock by providing accurate input, evaluating, planning and replenishing stock.
• Officer will issue PO to manufacturers and manage the files. Participate in regular production meeting.
• Coordinate with other department on deliveries, inspection of product, product specification, regulatory requirement.
• Maintain long-term supplier relationship with suppliers, through effective communication.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or any other related field.
• 1 - 2 years working experience, preferably in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, stock management or customer service.
• Good communication skill in English and preferably also Mandarin.
• Result oriented, energetic, proactive, multi-tasking and able to work independently
• Good interpersonal skill and ability to interact with people of all levels in the company and externally with suppliers
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office application, especially Excel.
• Good negotiation skill and enjoy mathematic calculation.
• Fresh graduates without experience, but good communication skill, are also encouraged to apply for the position. Training will be provided.
