Position: Data Center Technician

Employment Type: 12-month contract (renewable)

Location: Sunview Drive, Boon Lay, Singapore

Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days a week (Mondays-Fridays)

Working Hours in MY time: 9AM - 6PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Center Technician to provide on-site support for data center operations, hardware installation, cabling, and incident resolution. The role involves supporting engineering teams to ensure the reliable operation of critical IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rack installation, hardware deployment, and rack-and-stack activities.
• Install, patch, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Execute remote hands support, hardware replacements, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support incident, change, and ticket management while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Perform asset inventory, equipment audits, and data center health checks.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal engineering teams during maintenance and installations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data center operations or Hands & Feet support (L1/L2).
• Knowledge of server hardware, rack installation, structured cabling, and network patching.
• Familiarity with copper and fiber optic cabling, ISP connectivity, and hardware support.
• CCNA certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Pay: $2,200.00 - $3,500.00 per month

• Cabling: 1 year (Preferred)
