Responsibilities

Company Description Future Group Language Solutions is a global provider of innovative digital experience and language services powered by human expertise and advanced AI. With over 30 years of experience, the company helps individuals and organizations communicate across cultures and expand internationally. Future Group delivers integrated solutions across technology, language, and multicultural marketing, guided by Shariah-compliant ethical values. Its mission is to empower businesses, particularly in emerging markets, to grow sustainably and build meaningful connections with diverse audiences.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Interpreter role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Medical Interpreter will facilitate accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive communication between healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring clear understanding of medical histories, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consent forms. Daily responsibilities include interpreting during consultations, procedures, and follow-up visits; translating basic medical documents and patient information when needed; and clarifying terminology to avoid misunderstandings. The role also involves adhering to professional standards and ethics, maintaining patient privacy, collaborating with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow, and continuously improving language and medical terminology skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in at least two languages (including native-level fluency in Arabic and professional fluency in English); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in medical or community interpreting, with solid knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
  • Excellent active listening, note-taking, and communication skills, with the ability to convey information accurately and neutrally.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and follow professional codes of ethics and conduct.
  • Ability to work on-site in clinical settings, manage stressful or emotional situations, and support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Relevant education in languages, translation, interpreting, healthcare communication, or a related field; professional interpreter certification is a plus.
  • Comfort working with digital tools and AI-powered language solutions, and openness to ongoing training and skill development.
  • Availability for full-time schedules aligned with healthcare operations; flexibility for different shifts is preferred.
