Role Description The Structural Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This position is responsible for performing structural analysis and design for offshore structures, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with international and client-specific standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, creating and updating CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as project management, marine, and mechanical engineering. The Structural Engineer will participate in design reviews, support construction and installation activities, provide technical input for tenders and project proposals, and help troubleshoot structural issues during the lifecycle of offshore assets. The role also involves maintaining documentation, adhering to quality and HSE guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Qualifications

  • Must have Oil and Gas/ EPC Experience.
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering, Structural Analysis, and Calculations for offshore and marine structures.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Civil Engineering, with an understanding of materials, loadings, and structural design codes.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling, detailing, and revising engineering drawings.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to interpret engineering standards, apply offshore industry codes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Candidates should possess effective problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail in engineering work.
  • Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with cross-functional and site-based teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Relevant experience in offshore, marine, or oil and gas structural projects is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with finite element analysis software and familiarity with international design codes (e.g., API, ISO, DNV) is an advantage.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical engineering practices in an on-site environment is expected.
