About the Roles
We are seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to join a building construction team based in Tuas. This is a permanent position with a 5.5-day work week (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; alternate Saturdays), offering a competitive basic salary plus phone allowance. The role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on project experience in a structured and quality-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Report to the assigned Manager or Team Leader and complete designated project assignments.
- Review ISO requirements, technical drawings, project scope, contracts, and sub-contract agreements to ensure full understanding before execution.
- Coordinate with consultants to address and resolve technical concerns prior to construction.
- Prepare and submit work plans for approval, then execute tasks according to the agreed timeline.
- Ensure all site activities comply with approved drawings, quality procedures, and EHS standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Manage quality control processes by maintaining accurate documentation, reviewing outcomes, and implementing improvement measures.
- Keep detailed records to meet EHS, quality, client, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Monitor project costs by minimizing material damage, reducing wastage, and preventing rework or delays.
- Support the Project Manager with additional tasks required for successful project completion.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with HDB projects is required.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills to engage with stakeholders and project teams.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
