Role Description The Operations Scheduler is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for coordinating daily schedules for machinery moving, plant relocation, and related projects. This role involves planning and updating job schedules, assigning resources, and ensuring that crews, equipment, and materials are deployed efficiently to meet project timelines and budget requirements. The Operations Scheduler will work closely with project managers, consultants, and operations teams to confirm job details, manage changes, and resolve scheduling conflicts. The position includes monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and communicating clearly with internal stakeholders and customers on job status and any adjustments. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of scheduling processes and supports adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and schedules simultaneously.
- Experience in operations planning or scheduling, preferably in logistics, industrial services, or construction-related environments.
- Proficiency in using scheduling or ERP software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools for resource allocation and tracking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, field staff, and customers.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to manage last-minute changes, constraints, and operational risks.
- Understanding of basic project management principles, including timelines, milestones, and resource planning.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and operational requirements in machinery moving or industrial settings is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Singapore and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment.
