Responsibilities :
Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.
Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and software.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Ensure network security and implement measures to prevent unauthorized access.
Provide support when users encounter issues with computers and network devices.
Set up and manage user accounts, laptops, and computer devices.
Register and set up email accounts for new joiners.
Implement and manage data backup procedures to ensure data integrity.
Ensure the security of server computers through installation and upgrading of antivirus and firewall software.
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software purchases based on organizational needs.
Source and propose new software or systems to improve current work processes.
Negotiate with vendors and manage procurement processes.
Troubleshoot system hardware and software application issues.
Repair and replace damaged computer and network components.
Test new hardware and software before full-scale implementation.
Assess new technology and train staff on new software and IT equipment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation record for all IT systems and processes.
Other duties and assignments are to be assigned by the management as and when necessary.
Requirements :
Experienced in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in system/network administration.
Strong knowledge of server, network, and security management.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installation.
Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and antivirus/firewall setup.
Able to manage IT assets, procurement, and vendor coordination.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to technical issues.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to support end-users.
Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and willing to learn new technologies.
