Job Purpose
The post holder is responsible for preparing and consolidating Group financial information, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, while ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly Group consolidated financial results, including actual, forecast, and budget reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly Group closing timeline and closing and average foreign exchange rates
- Prepare quarterly Bursa Malaysia announcements and supporting financial analyses in compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
- Assist in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements and related disclosures
- Prepare scheduled management reports, financial analyses, and performance insights to support decision-making
- Develop Board and Board Audit Committee (BAC) presentation materials and other reporting packs as required
- Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders on financial reporting matters
- Support audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit queries and reporting requirements
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports, analyses, and presentations as requested by Management
- Undertake additional assignments and responsibilities to support the objectives of the Group Finance function
Qualification/Certification
Possesses Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience accompanied by professional accounting qualification.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 3 years working experience preferable in Accounting and reporting and Public listed companies
- Experience in Group consolidation is an advantage
- Worked with Big 4 audit firm is an advantage
- Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage
