Job Title: Multimedia Content Executive
Location : Petaling Jaya
Salary : RM3,000 - RM 4,500/month
Job Summary
The Multimedia Content Executive is responsible for capturing and producing content from the organization's public programs, webinars, and seminars, and turning that footage into written content and marketing materials. The role also provides on-the-ground support for online class setup and works closely with the Marketing and Public Programs teams to ensure content is used effectively across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Program Coverage
- Take charge of photo and video shooting for public programs, capturing key moments for use in marketing.
- Take charge of shooting webinars, including recording, camera/audio setup, and coverage of key segments.
- Take charge of shooting seminars, including recording, camera/audio setup, and coverage of key segments.
- Ensure footage and photos are properly organized, backed up, for easier editing/publishing.
Content Writing
- Write content about public programs (recaps, highlights, key takeaways) for use on social media and other marketing channels.
- Write content based on webinar and seminar recordings (summaries, quotes, key insights) to repurpose as marketing assets.
- Draft captions and short posts to accompany photos/videos from events.
Online Class Support
- Assist the Public Programs team with online class setup whenever required (platform setup, camera/audio check, troubleshooting during sessions).
- Provide on-site technical support to ensure smooth running of livestreamed or recorded sessions.
Social Media & Marketing Support
- Support the content calendar by contributing event-based content (photos, videos, write-ups) for organic posting.
- Monitor comments and messages on posts related to programs, webinars, and seminars, and respond promptly.
- Coordinate with Graphic Designers and Marketing team members to repackage event content into marketing materials.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track basic performance of program/webinar/seminar-related posts (reach, engagement) and share updates with the team.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience in social media marketing, content creation, videography/photography, or a related field (internship experience considered).
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in taking photos and videos, and operating a camera — this is a core requirement for this role.
- Good writing skills, able to turn event/program footage into engaging content.
- Comfortable working on-site at events, webinars, and seminars, including some evenings/weekends as needed.
- Basic familiarity with video/photo editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple event schedules and deadlines.
- Positive attitude, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Diploma/BS in Communications, Marketing, Mass Communication, New Media, or related field.
