Junior SWIFT Application Maintenance/ Production Support (L3)

Experience Level: Junior (3–5 Years)

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior SWIFT Application Maintenance/ Production Support (L3) to provide Level 3 application maintenance and production support for SWIFT-related solutions within a secure financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 application support for SWIFT solutions, including AMH, AMG, and SAG.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.
• Support incident management, problem management, and service restoration activities.
• Participate in application deployments, patching, and configuration updates.
• Ensure the stability and smooth operation of applications running on RHEL or equivalent Linux environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.
• Use Control-M for job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation covering system configurations, operational procedures, and known issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in application support, production support, or SWIFT payments environments.
• Hands-on experience with SWIFT solutions – AMH, AMG, and SAG (Mandatory).
• Strong experience with RHEL or equivalent Linux distributions such as SUSE Linux (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot (Mandatory).
• Working knowledge of Control-M job scheduler (Mandatory).
• Strong Shell scripting experience (Mandatory).
• Experience in Level 3 application maintenance and production support.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to JBoss Application Server.
• Experience with Apache Web Server.
• Experience working in Citrix environments.
• Prior experience in highly secured environments, preferably within the financial services or banking domain.
• Understanding of security practices such as audits, encryption, and 2FA/MFA.
• Familiarity with SWIFT MTxxx message formats and ISO 20022 standards.
