At Zen, your words, ideas and creativity are valued and needed. This is an intensive, hands-on opportunity to master the strategic art of content copywriting for the digital age. You'll gain practical experience working directly on client social media accounts, ensuring their brand voices resonate powerfully and their messages convert.

You will be responsible for creating compelling written content and managing the associated research and workflow:

Strategic Planning & Copywriting:

• Study creative briefs and client goals to determine specific copy requirements and content strategies.
• Write high-engagement social media content (captions, posts, short-form scripts) that genuinely reflects and amplifies the clients' unique brand voice across platforms.
• Interpret creative direction and adapt core marketing points from briefs into persuasive, concise copy concepts ready for execution.

Research & Accuracy (The Core of Quality Content):

• Conduct thorough, relevant research on industry topics, viral trends, and client data to back up all copy and caption writing.
• Produce error-free content that strictly adheres to the clients' style guidelines, brand tone, and grammatical standards (you will become a meticulous proofreader!).

Collaboration & Project Management:

• Collaborate closely with the Graphic Design team and the wider account service team to develop integrated content that slays.
• Learn to simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines, developing vital prioritization and time management skills.
• Ensure all written content projects are completed with high quality and on schedule - from idea to post.

Job Requirements

We are seeking a self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for digital storytelling.

• Writing Skills: Demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely, and creatively for various audiences. A natural talent for adapting tone and voice is essential.
• Digital Fluency: A passion for research and an enthusiastic understanding of the latest social media trends and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)—you know what's current and why it works.
• Experience: Prior experience (personal, academic, or freelance) in writing for social media or marketing is a significant plus.
• Work Ethic: Comfortable multitasking and maintaining organization in a deadline-driven environment.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with designers and managers.
