Responsibilities
Novotel Century Hong Kong located in the heart of Wan Chai. The hotel is perfect for leisure and business guests traveling to Hong Kong. Le Café is our signature high-volume, all-day dining venue, celebrated for its international buffets, lively open kitchen, and warm, fast-paced atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Shift & Service Leadership: Oversee daily meal period operations (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner buffets/a-la-carte), ensuring efficient seating, proactive table maintenance, and seamless service flow.
Team Supervision & Coaching: Guide, motivate, and mentor floor staff and part-time team members. Assist with shift briefings, basic task training, and maintaining high team morale.
Guest Relations & Quality Control: Act as a key point of contact on the floor, warmly greeting guests, handling immediate inquiries or feedback with diplomacy, and driving guest satisfaction scores.
Standards & Hygiene: Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene protocols, and brand presentation guidelines across the floor and buffet setups.
Operational Support: Assist the F&B Manager with daily roster planning, inventory checks, cashiering reconciliations, and floor preparation.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory or senior service experience in a hotel restaurant, high-volume buffet, or fast-paced dining establishment.
Leadership Style: Hands-on leader with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to keep a team motivated under pressure.
Communication: Good command of spoken Cantonese and English (Mandarin is an added advantage).
Adaptability: Comfortable working shift duties, including weekends and public holidays.
