• Responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers for the best purchase price and delivery terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) according to company requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely purchasing of materials and supplies.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain proper purchasing records, documents, and filing systems.
• Compare quotations and evaluate supplier performance.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and other departments regarding material requirements.
• Ensure purchased items meet quality requirements and specifications.
• Handle supplier inquiries, complaints, and resolve purchasing issues.
• Assist in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and policies.
• Prepare purchasing reports as requested by management.
• Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Department Head from time to time.
