Job Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of projects from inspection through completion. The role ensures projects are completed within the approved budget, timeline, quality standards, and client expectations.

As the key liaison person, the Project Manager will work closely with clients, main contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure effective project management, smooth coordination of construction activities, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project execution from initial inspection stage until project completion.
• Establish project objectives, requirements, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations.
• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate construction activities among main contractors, specialist consultants, and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Manage project budget, track costs, identify variances, and recommend cost control measures.
• Oversee contract administration, variation orders, and final account settlement.
• Ensure project works comply with approved specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and environmental policies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies including ABMS Procedures, ABAC Policy, Whistleblowing Policy, and MACC Act 2009 requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management within construction / building / fit-out industry.
• Proven experience managing projects from planning stage to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, contract administration, and cost control.
• Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within tight deadlines.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
