The Marketing Intern will support Tuahvet’s Marketing & Communications Department in content creation, digital marketing, campaign execution, event support, branding, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing content plans, captions, scripts, and marketing ideas for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Status, and other platforms.
• Support the creation of posters, social media graphics, infographics, photographs, and short-form videos.
• Schedule and publish approved content according to the department’s content calendar.
• Assist in marketing campaigns, promotions, events, roadshows, branch activities, and customer engagement programmes.
• Conduct basic research on cat healthcare topics, market trends, competitors, and customer interests.
• Monitor basic performance indicators such as reach, engagement, views, enquiries, leads, and campaign responses.
• Update content trackers, campaign records, reports, presentations, and marketing files.
• Assist in reviewing customer-facing materials to ensure information is clear, accurate, and consistent with Tuahvet’s brand.
• Coordinate with branches, internal departments, vendors, and external partners when required.
• Perform other marketing and communications duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Candidate Requirements

1. Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
2. Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
3. Interested in digital marketing, social media, branding, content creation, and customer engagement.
4. Familiar with Canva, CapCut, Adobe applications, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools.
5. Organised, creative, responsible, willing to learn, and able to meet deadlines.
6. Comfortable working around cats and within a veterinary clinic environment.
7. Able to travel to Tuahvet branches or event locations when required.

Preferred Skills

* Basic graphic design, photography, or video-editing skills.
* Experience managing social media accounts.
* Familiarity with digital advertising, analytics, SEO, websites, or email marketing.
* Experience supporting events, university programmes, or promotional activities.

Expected Learning Outcomes

Professional Conduct
The intern must maintain confidentiality, follow Tuahvet’s brand and workplace guidelines, obtain approval before publishing content, and avoid providing medical advice without authorisation from the veterinary team.
