Intersurgical Medical Hiring! Full Time EHS Officer- Executive in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 3,500 - Ricebowl

We are seeking a proactive and motivated EHS Officer / Executive to implement and maintain workplace safety, environmental compliance, and EHS programs within our manufacturing facility in accordance with Malaysian regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor EHS programs in compliance with Malaysian Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) regulations and company requirements
• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, and HIRARC activities to identify and mitigate workplace risks
• Implement and sustain 5S practices to maintain workplace safety, housekeeping standards, and visual management
• Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, training programs, fire drills, and emergency evacuation exercises
• Promote safe work practices, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and a strong culture of safety awareness
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain EHS records, reports, SOPs, inspections, permits, and statutory documentation for compliance purposes
• Manage scheduled waste activities, including storage, labeling, inventory, record keeping, and disposal in compliance with environmental regulations and company requirements
• Manage chemical safety practices, including SDS maintenance, labeling, storage, and workplace handling requirements
• Lead EHS audits, Safety & Health Committee meetings, corrective action follow-up, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workplace safety and compliance
• Collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and support teams to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related disciplines
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; manufacturing or EHS experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations, HIRARC, workplace safety requirements, and environmental compliance is preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and 5S practices is an advantage
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a manufacturing environment
