Hiring: Analog Mixed Signal Layout Engineer

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Contract: 1-Year Contract

Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Analog Mixed Signal Layout Engineer to join a leading semiconductor manufacturing team in Penang.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement custom analog & mixed-signal layouts
• Develop High-Speed IO layouts (SerDes, DDR IO, or similar)
• Work on analog IPs including PLL, DLL, LDO, Bandgap, and mixed-signal blocks
• Perform floorplanning, device placement, routing, shielding, matching, and symmetry optimization
• Execute DRC, LVS, ERC, and physical verification using Calibre or equivalent tools
• Support IO floorplanning, power planning, ESD layout, C4 bump planning, and RDL implementation
• Collaborate with circuit designers to optimize performance, area, power, and yield
• Support tape-out activities and ensure compliance with advanced process node design rules

Required Skills:

• 2–8 years of Analog/Mixed Signal Layout experience
• Strong expertise in Cadence Virtuoso Layout Suite or equivalent
• Experience with SerDes IO, DDR IO, or High-Speed IO layouts
• Knowledge of PLL, DLL, LDO, Bandgap, and analog circuit layout
• Hands-on experience with LVS, DRC, ERC, and physical verification tools (Calibre or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of device matching, shielding, guard rings, latch-up prevention, EM/IR analysis, and layout reliability
