Video Editor (Social Content Focus)

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Views Editor to join our team for an upcoming high-volume content production project.

This role will focus on editing content into engaging long-form and short-form videos, optimized for audience retention and strong performance across social platforms.

The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, internet culture, and how to create high-performing content for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This is a fast-paced engagement requiring same-day fast-turn editing support, producing a high volume of social assets within tight turnaround timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video for YouTube and other digital platforms
• Create engaging short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Improve viewer retention through pacing, cuts, captions, sound design, and visual storytelling
• Collaborate with producers and creative teams to align with content direction and tight deadlines
• Handle post-production tasks including audio clean-up, color correction, subtitles, and basic motion graphics when required
• Organize and manage editing assets efficiently
• Stay updated with social media trends and content formats

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, podcast editing, or social content editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of YouTube and short-form content trends
• Excellent sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines independently
• Portfolio or sample works required

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with motion graphics and subtitle styling for social platforms
