Company Description

TradeFlow Capital Management is a FinTech-powered commodity trade fund manager that enables physical import and export transactions for SME firms through a unique non-credit lending approach to trade finance. By focusing on insurable physical risks instead of pure credit risk, TradeFlow offers investors a differentiated and asset-backed investment strategy. Through its USD and EURO Trade Flow funds, the company has facilitated over US$3.5 billion in commodity trades across multiple countries, commodities, and SME counterparties. TradeFlow’s strategy, including Shariah-compliant murabaha transactions, aims to close the global US$2.5 trillion trade finance gap for SMEs in bulk commodity trading. Headquartered in Singapore, TradeFlow is actively involved with leading industry bodies such as the International Chamber of Commerce and the Singapore FinTech Association, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and responsible trade finance.

Role Description

The Junior Trade Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role supports the end-to-end lifecycle of commodity trade transactions, including documentation preparation, trade execution support, and coordination with internal teams and external counterparties. Daily responsibilities include reviewing trade documents, assisting with KYC and compliance checks, updating transaction records, and monitoring timelines to ensure smooth trade flows. The Junior Trade Executive will liaise with operations, risk, and finance teams, and help prepare reports and summaries for internal stakeholders. This position offers exposure to international trade, commodity markets, and FinTech-enabled trade finance processes, with opportunities to learn and grow within a specialized and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of digital invoices in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients on invoice reconciliation, payment schedules and billing-related enquiries.
  • Monitor contract tenors and maintain accurate contract information in the Commodity Trade and Risk Management (CTRM) system.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and ensure data integrity across trade, logistics and invoicing systems.
  • Provide trade operations support by verifying contract, shipment and logistics information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with internal departments, customers, logistics providers and other external stakeholders to facilitate smooth trade execution.
  • Support logistics and inventory operations, including monitoring shipment status and vessel movements using relevant operational systems.
  • Generate operational reports relating to invoices, shipments and trade activities.
  • Provide administrative support and assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new systems, digitalisation projects and workflow enhancements.
