Gateway Search is proud to work with one of international leading organizations specializing in the defense and security sectors. With the business expanding in Singapore, they are currently looking to bring on board qualified Service Technicians:

1. Electrical Service Technician
2. Mechanical Service Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate, disassemble, assemble, test, repair of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic components.
• Execute assembling and disassembling works on the heavy duty vehicles such as; Engine, gearbox, transferase, axles, cabin, winches etc.
• Execute retrofitting tasks by using provided technical drawings and SOW.
• Use recourses such as after sales program, electronic parts catalogue to source and find information such as spare part numbers and workshop repair information’s.
• Use special tools to perform repairs more efficiently.
• Follow work instructions of the manufacturer by using repair‐ and service manual.
• Diagnose electrical errors by using OEM provided diagnosis computer or execute technical assessments on failing systems and determine proper corrective repair solutions.
• Work on side at customers place (Army camp)
• Carefully handling of workshop equipment’s and personalized tools.
• Housekeeping, maintain quality service and safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• NTC 3 certificate holder in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of working experience (Truck, heavy duty vehicle division) in the repairing and maintaining of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical diagrams, such as mechanical or electrical drawings.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented and able to work with others to resolve customer complaints.
