Role Description The Transportation Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Rawang. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling transportation routes, coordinating drivers and vehicles, and ensuring shipments are picked up and delivered on time. Daily tasks include monitoring fleet activities, updating delivery statuses, resolving routing issues, and maintaining accurate transportation records. The Transportation Coordinator will communicate regularly with drivers, customers, and internal teams to address inquiries, provide updates, and handle service issues. The role also involves supporting compliance with company policies and transport regulations, assisting with basic reporting, and helping improve operational efficiency within the transportation department.

Qualifications

• Strong Operations Management and Transportation Management skills to plan routes, coordinate fleet activities, and support efficient daily operations.
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with drivers, clients, and internal teams, and to address service-related issues professionally.
• Solid Organization Skills to manage schedules, documentation, and multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to use basic computer and logistics systems (e.g., spreadsheets, routing or fleet management software) and to maintain accurate records.
• Prior experience in transport, logistics, or fleet coordination is preferred; knowledge of local routes and transport regulations is an advantage.
• Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics, supply chain, or related fields is beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rawang and coordinate with teams across different shifts when needed.
