The hotel offers 407 well-appointed rooms and suites across its Tower and Annexe Blocks, designed to provide a comfortable and refined stay. Guests enjoy a range of facilities including eight versatile function rooms that can host up to 450 attendees for meetings, events, and celebrations. White Rose Café serves Western and Asian cuisine, alongside renowned Penang specialties featured in its popular thrice-yearly Penang Hawkers’ Fare. Role Description The Reservations Manager (RM) is a full-time, on-site role based at York Hotel Singapore in Orchard. The RM oversees the daily operations of the reservations department, including managing room inventory, monitoring booking trends, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of reservations across multiple channels. This role manages reservation inquiries, modifies bookings, and resolves guest issues professionally to maintain high service standards and maximize revenue. The RM collaborates closely with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue Management to optimize occupancy, implement rate strategies, and support group bookings and corporate accounts. The position also includes leading and coaching the reservations team, conducting training, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies, standard operating procedures, and quality benchmarks.


Qualifications

  • Strong reservations management experience, including handling individual and group bookings, room inventory control, and familiarity with hotel reservation systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction, problem-solving, and handling inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written, with confidence in liaising with guests, internal departments, and external partners.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and supervising team members to uphold service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Relevant experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory reservations role; prior experience in a 4-star or business hotel is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with hotel property management systems and MS Office.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Singaporean or PR Preferred.
