About the Role

EMURGO is seeking an experienced and hands-on Part-Time Product Lead to provide product leadership during a period of strategic transition.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role will oversee the product-related aspects of the SecondFi wind-down and support the evaluation and development of potential new product and business initiatives.

As the company’s future product direction is still being determined, the successful candidate must be comfortable working in an evolving environment, bringing structure to ambiguity, and providing practical product guidance within a part-time arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s product function and act as the primary product adviser to the CEO.
• Oversee the product-related aspects of the orderly wind-down of SecondFi.
• Establish clear priorities, milestones, responsibilities, risks, and closure requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, security, legal, operations, finance, communications, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that critical product knowledge, documentation, decisions, and requirements are properly captured and retained.
• Assess potential new products, partnerships, technologies, and business opportunities.
• Conduct initial customer, market, commercial, technical, and feasibility assessments.
• Develop product concepts, business cases, validation plans, and recommendations for selected opportunities.
• Provide regular updates to the CEO on progress, risks, decisions required, and resource needs.
• Prepare a structured handover and recommendations for the company’s next phase.

Requirements

• Strong experience in a senior product leadership role, such as Product Lead or Head of Product.
• Proven experience in product strategy, discovery, prioritisation, and cross-functional delivery.
• Experience managing product transitions, product sunsets, restructuring, or organisational change.
• Ability to assess new product and business opportunities from commercial, customer, technical, operational, and risk perspectives.
• Strong executive communication, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver meaningful outcomes within a part-time arrangement.
• Comfortable operating without a fully defined roadmap and working at both strategic and execution levels.
• Based in Singapore and able to work closely with the CEO.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fintech, blockchain, Web3, digital assets, financial services, or another technology-led business.
• Experience working directly with CEOs, founders, or senior leadership teams.
• Experience in product wind-downs, new-product development, venture building, market validation, or business-case development.

Contract Terms

This is a part-time, fixed-term position available for immediate commencement and expected to continue until 31 December 2026.

The working schedule and expected time commitment will be mutually agreed based on business requirements and the successful candidate’s availability.

The initial focus will be the product-related wind-down of SecondFi and the assessment of potential new product and business initiatives. The scope and priorities of the role may evolve during the assignment.

The contract may be extended subject to ongoing business needs and mutual agreement.
