Role Description The Auditor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing audit fieldwork, reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation, testing internal controls, and assessing compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards. The role involves preparing working papers, drafting clear audit findings, and contributing to audit reports for clients. Auditors collaborate with team members and client personnel to understand business processes, identify risks, and recommend practical control improvements. The position also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of audit methodologies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, while adhering to firm policies and professional ethics.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in accounting, auditing principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify inconsistencies, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation and audit testing.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic accounting or audit software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.
