Role Description This full-time, on-site Strategy Analyst role is based at IMU University’s campus in Kuala Lumpur. The Strategy Analyst supports institutional planning by gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data related to academic programmes, operations, and market trends. The role involves preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations that inform leadership decisions on growth initiatives, resource allocation, and partnership opportunities. The Strategy Analyst collaborates with academic and administrative units to monitor key performance indicators, assess the impact of strategic projects, and recommend data-driven improvements. Daily work includes conducting financial and enrollment analysis, benchmarking against peer institutions, and contributing to strategy documents, business cases, and internal reviews.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to present findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to support budgeting, forecasting, and evaluation of strategic investments.
• Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills to contribute to institutional plans, assess initiatives, and support long-term decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Public Policy, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with statistical or analytics software is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in higher education, healthcare, or consulting is an added advantage.
