Job Vacancy: Production Operator / AOI Operator

Working Hours:

• Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM
• Night Shift: 8:30 PM – 8:30 AM

Shift Pattern: 4-3-3-4 Rotating Shift (12-hour shifts)
Day and night shifts rotate every 3 months.

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated and responsible Production Operators / AOI Operators to join a leading semiconductor manufacturing company in Johor.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, performing manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment, and ensuring all production activities are carried out according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain product quality, workplace safety, and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations

• Operate production equipment and perform manufacturing processes according to SOPs.
• Execute production tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor production processes and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Follow work instructions provided by supervisors.

Quality Control

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks during production.
• Report any quality defects, process deviations, equipment abnormalities, or safety concerns immediately.
• Ensure all production records and documentation are completed accurately.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Cleanroom Operations

• Perform duties in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• Wear cleanroom protective clothing, including jumpsuit, smock, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all cleanroom procedures and contamination control requirements.

Workplace Safety

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in 5S and Kaizen activities.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• WSQ Manufacturing or Welding Certificate is acceptable.
• UEC or Statement of Results is not accepted.
• Able to communicate in basic English.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
• Able to stand for long periods during working hours.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including day and night shifts.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions.
