Programme Management Intern —Lifeskills

Role Purpose
The Programme Management Intern will support the Programme Manager in the coordination, preparation, administration, and delivery support of Lifeskills programmes for schools and youth learners.
This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to programme management in the education and training sector, while helping to ensure that programmes are well-prepared, properly documented, smoothly coordinated, and delivered with quality.
The intern will assist with programme materials, trainer coordination, logistics preparation, scheduling support, feedback tracking, administrative updates, and basic research for programme improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Coordination Support
Assist the Programme Manager in preparing for confirmed school programmes and training projects.
This may include:
- Preparing programme files, checklists, schedules, and project folders
- Consolidating programme details such as dates, venues, class sizes, trainer requirements, and materials needed
- Supporting internal coordination between programme, sales, admin, logistics, and trainer teams
- Helping to track project timelines and outstanding tasks
- Assisting with follow-up reminders to ensure programme preparation is completed on time
2. Training Materials and Content Support
Support the preparation and organisation of programme-related materials.
This may include:
- Formatting lesson plans, slides, worksheets, student handouts, trainer guides, and activity sheets
- Printing, packing, sorting, and checking training materials before programme deployment
- Updating programme templates and files based on the Programme Manager’s instructions
- Helping to ensure that the latest versions of materials are properly organised and accessible
- Supporting simple edits or refinements to learning materials where required
3. Logistics and Inventory Support
Assist in the preparation of programme logistics to ensure smooth delivery.
This may include:
- Preparing and checking logistics lists for programmes
- Packing and arranging training kits, activity materials, stationery, props, and other programme items
- Tracking inventory usage and flagging items that need replenishment
- Coordinating simple logistics arrangements before and after programmes
- Helping to ensure that materials are returned, counted, and properly stored after programme completion
4. Trainer Coordination and Support
Support the Programme Manager in coordinating with associate trainers.
This may include:
- Sending programme details, reminders, and basic briefing notes to trainers
- Preparing trainer attendance lists, deployment details, and relevant programme documents
- Helping to collect trainer information, availability, or required documents
- Tracking trainer confirmations and highlighting gaps to the Programme Manager
- Supporting the preparation of trainer briefing materials
5. Programme Administration and System Updates
Assist with administrative documentation and updates related to programme management.
This may include:
- Updating project management systems or trackers
- Maintaining programme records, schedules, attendance information, and feedback documents
- Organising digital folders and ensuring proper file naming and version control
- Assisting with basic data entry and documentation
- Helping to consolidate information for monthly updates and internal reports
6. Feedback, Quality Support and Reporting
Support the collection and consolidation of programme feedback.
This may include:
- Collating feedback from schools, students, teachers, trainers, or internal teams
- Summarising common feedback points for the Programme Manager’s review
- Tracking issues, compliments, learning points, and areas for improvement
- Preparing simple feedback summaries or post-programme reports
- Helping to document improvement actions for future programme runs
7. Programme Research and Innovation Support
Assist with basic research to support programme improvement and development.
This may include:
- Researching youth trends, school needs, Lifeskills topics, and training activity ideas
- Looking for examples of engaging classroom activities, reflection questions, and learning tools
- Supporting the development of new programme ideas under the Programme Manager’s guidance
- Helping to organise research findings into simple notes or presentation formats

Requirements
Qualifications
- Candidates with interest in youth development, training, education, enrichment, or programme management will be preferred

Key Deliverables
By the end of the 6-month contract, the intern should have supported the Programme Manager in:
- Maintaining proper programme trackers and project documentation
- Preparing training materials and logistics for assigned programmes
- Supporting trainer coordination and deployment preparation
- Updating programme records and internal systems accurately
- Consolidating programme feedback and simple reports
- Supporting research or enhancement work for Lifeskills / Lifeskills programmes
- Reducing the administrative and operational workload of the Programme Manager
Working Arrangement
The intern may be required to support programme preparation, internal coordination, logistics packing, administrative updates, and occasional on-site programme support, depending on operational needs.
Some programmes may take place during school hours, after-school hours, weekends, or school holiday periods. Reasonable notice will be given where possible.
Important Clarification
This is a support role. The intern will not be expected to independently manage clients, approve trainer deployment, make programme quality decisions, approve budgets, or take full ownership of programme delivery. These responsibilities remain with the Programme Manager and the relevant department leads.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,250.00 per month
