Job Overview

We are looking for a commercially driven Air Freight Pricing & Procurement Manager to strengthen our air freight business through strategic pricing, carrier procurement, and market analysis. This role is instrumental in securing competitive airline rates, supporting customer growth opportunities, and driving sustainable profitability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for spot, contract, and tariff-based air freight business.
• Negotiate competitive rates and capacity commitments with airlines, GSAs, and logistics partners.
• Drive business growth by supporting customer acquisition, retention, and expansion opportunities.
• Lead RFQs, tenders, and commercial proposals for key local, regional, and global accounts.
• Partner with Sales teams to develop winning pricing solutions and enhance conversion rates.
• Monitor market trends, airline capacity, and rate developments to maintain a competitive edge.
• Build strong carrier partnerships and leverage market relationships to secure favourable commercial terms.
• Provide market intelligence and pricing recommendations to management and commercial teams.
• Work closely with Operations and overseas offices to ensure service feasibility and profitability.
• Maintain pricing databases, reporting tools, and procurement records to ensure data accuracy and operational excellence.

Requirements

• At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in Air Freight Pricing, Procurement, Trade Management, or Commercial roles.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in airline procurement and pricing management.
• Experience handling RFQs, global tenders, and multinational customer accounts.
• In-depth knowledge of air freight market trends, airline networks, and capacity management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and freight management systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic logistics environment.
