• The company is part of the wider Malaysian investment and property-related company involved in asset holding, leasing, and project-based property activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting

• Full-set accounts.
• Month-end closings.
• Balance sheets.
• Profit-and-loss statements.
• Cash flow reports.

Operational Oversight

• Manage daily finance and accounting tasks.
• Accounts receivable/payable, General ledger entries, Bank reconciliations.
• Regular invoicing and close follow-up with clients for timely payments.
• Regular liaison with finance outsourcing agency to ensure all deliverables are timely and accurate.

Compliance & Tax

• Ensure adherence to local Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax filings, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB).

Budgeting & Analysis

• Assist with variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:​

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in corporate finance or accounting operations.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in Xero and MYOB softwares.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Language Proficiencies

• Good command of English, Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for cross-border trade firms in JB.
