• Direct the end-to-end preparation of monthly financial statements, including thorough analysis, review, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and strict adherence to accounting standards, relevant legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analytical reviews of financial results, identify significant variances, and investigate any discrepancies or outliers.
• Oversee the preparation of annual tax filings, estimated tax computations, and manage all other tax-related matters.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, company secretaries, bankers, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Guarantee full compliance with internal company policies, procedures, and all applicable external regulations, including the Housing Development Act and Strata Management Act.
• Supervise the daily operational activities of the Finance and Accounts Department.
• Review and approve payment recommendation plans, payment vouchers, and journal vouchers prepared by the team.
• Collaborate with operational staff and provide financial insights to support informed decision-making.
• Lead the preparation of the annual budget and monitor actual performance against budgetary targets.
• Track project expenditures against the approved budget and key project milestones/parameters.
• Assist in the preparation of project-related reports in accordance with shareholder guidelines.
• Prepare and monitor project and company-wide cash flow forecasts to maintain a healthy cash position.
• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree/Professional qualification in Accountancy or equivalent with minimum of 5 to 7 years working experience.
• Familiar with Construction and Property Development Industry.
• Team player with a positive working attitude and have good analytical and communication skills.
• Able to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multi-task and willing to be hands-on.
• Demonstrate integrity and committed with a strong sense of responsibility to meet deadlines.
