EHS and Building Services Manager
You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of environmental, health and safety practices across our Singapore sites. You will manage EHS programs, conduct audits, and oversee audit certifications. In addition, you will manage and oversee all building services projects—including construction, addition and alteration (A&A) of offices, fit‑outworks, employee welfare—to ensure full compliance with legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with corporate teams on KPI submission and audits including insurance audits
- Plan, develop and execute EHS programs, procedures, audits and awareness activities for the Singapore sites including yearly plant maintenance activities
- Manage certifications, conduct audits and track audit findings through closure
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on all EHS related matters for projects and operations
- Oversee safety incidents, timely reporting and investigations accordance with the Incident Reporting standards
- Lead all EHS audits both internal and external
- Support any other EHS activities, initiatives and tasks assigned by the Site Management
- Work with the landlord on EHS and Building Services Matters
- Responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of the buildings
- Work with various teams to ensure regular inspections
- Manage janitorial, pest control, car park and office spaces
- Management of essential services relating to property management including employee welfare
- Work with Facilities operation steam on Inventory control of renewing licenses, test certificate of Mechanical Equipment and other certifications
- Support various external/internal audits by internal partners/customers to meet authority/customer requirement.
- Site verification and preparation of Permit to Work to ensure compliance of safety regulations and proper housekeeping.
- Develop, review and/or update operating procedures, risks assessments and work instructions.
- Energy Manager certification will be beneficial
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma holders in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in Facilities or with minimum 5 years post WSHO registration.. Preferably from Semiconductor Manufacturing or Electronic manufacturing industry.
- Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Office (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower
- Registered Fire Safety Manager preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in dealing with EHS and Building Services matters
- Must be a team player with the right attitude and aptitude.
- Must be willing to work overtime when needs arise.
